Twelve miniature feathered dinosaurs that accurately depict some of the latest discoveries in China. Recent digs have discovered that many dinosaurs had feathers although most could not fly. These findings reinforce the theory that dinosaurs have a connection with birds. Safari developed this series with the assistance of the Museum of Natural History in New York. Each is hand painted and comes packaged in a carry-along acetate tube with spinning globe cap. Sizes range from 1.5" to 2.5" long. Minimum 10 varied pieces in the set.
