We've had this game over a year and like it, for the most part. The part we don't like is that it has a programming flaw. Radica has known about the built-in programming error for at least two years, and still has not fixed it. It's so annoying, we would actually buy a new model to escape it. As mentioned by other reviewers, the error is that when you deplete the deck, at any time, your points are heavily docked - even if you haven't yet gone through the deck three times. <br /> <br />It's supposed to work like this You lose points when you: (1) Go through the deck more than three times, and (2) Use the "undo" button. Period. <br /> <br />As it now stands, if you use the first three cards from the deck, causing you to deal another three, it counts as a complete deck pass-through. Use the next three and go to the deck again, and it counts as another full pass-through, etc. You can actually "go through the deck three times" without ever actually having gone through it once. It certainly doesn't happen every game, but it happens enough to be pretty annoying. <br /> <br />Having said all that regarding the error in programming, there is still much to recommend about this game. Construction-wise, it is tough. We've had ours for over a year and it is still like new, even though it's been played a zillion times. The automatic back-light feature is great and saves batteries. Speaking of batteries, we've only had to replace them one time in a year. The shape, while pleasing to the eye, could stand to be a bit less slick; we've dropped the game many times simply because it's a little tough to hold without sliding from your hands. Another nice feature is that the play is fast; there's no lag at all. <br /> <br />All things considered, if something happened to our game, we'd buy another like it right away - even with the programming flaw. It still is the best hand-held solitaire game out there. If Radica would correct the improper programming, we'd replace our current game with the new one. It would be even better if they made the case a little easier to hold. Radica would have a home-run on their hands if they'd fix these issues. <br /> <br />I intend to contact Radica and provide them a copy of this review.
